Member Technical Staff, Grid and Data Access Development, Distributed Databases Group 1 Transparent Session Migration (TSM) for Oracle Connection Pooled Sessions over a Grid Architecture. In this project, we implemented transparent session migration feature to migrate a database session from one server to another server transparently. 2 Load Balancing for connection pooled sessions over a Grid Architecture using TSM. This project is an implementation of load-balancer, which observes the load across servers and does load-balancing using TSM feature. My involvement in TSM and Load-balancer projects is from Design, Coding till Unit-testing. 3 Enhancement to Existing Feature. My work in one enhancement was to enable To-Schema method of authentication at the Oracle Call Interface (OCI) layer. Currently developing this tool. 4 Implementation of Fault-Tolerant Load-Balancing Cache-able Web Proxy. This project is an implementation of highly available and performing web-proxy. We achieved high-availability despite failures at various levels including server, load-balancer, proxy and network-links. 5 Implementation of HTTP/1.0 client, multithreaded server and analysis of its availability and performance. I implemented HTTP Client, multi-threaded HTTP/1.0 server and analyzed proxy request-handling performance using thttp as client and thttpd as server. Aim of this project is to get hands-on experience in analyzing large-scale systems. 6 Text Classification through Bayesian Classifier.
