This experiment will require two power supplies. One will supply power to the servo controller circuitry, and the other will be used as the DC input signal. You will use the HP E3611A power supply mounted in the instrument panel as the DC input signal and the extra (unmounted) DC power supply as the servo controller power source. It is important to use the unmounted DC supply as the servo controller power source because the HP E3611A power supply cannot provide enough current. The digital oscilloscope will be used to examine the signals present at the output of each stage in the controller circuit.
