I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University.

My interests include high-performance computing, heterogeneous architectures, fault tolerant hardware and robotics. I obtained my Bachelor of Engineering in 2005 from the Automatic Control and Computer Engineering Department at "Gh. Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Romania . I also attended the courses of "Al. I Cuza" University of Iasi - Department of Mathematics, but I had to interrupt these studies due to the Duke offer. I am currently researching with dr. Dan Sorin on process-variability and its impact at microarchitectural level.
